Carlo Ancelotti has moved to quash any new doubts over his future at Real Madrid by insisting he will be at the club next season.
It was on Friday reported that Los Blancos were lining up Porto Coach Julen Lopetegui as a possible replacement, while Ancelotti himself acknowledged there have been no talks over extending his contract, which expires in 2016.
Ancelotti also confirmed Iker Casillas’ place was secure after having appeared to call the captain’s future into question in a radio interview.
“I see myself here next season, with Casillas and with everyone who is doing well now,” the Italian said at a Press conference prior to the game against Malaga, AS reports.
“I don’t want to rank goalkeepers. I have three very good goalkeepers and I’m happy with them.
“The three best in the world are the three I have. I haven’t talked about signing another goalkeeper.”
