Jeremy Mathieu has revealed he found life at Barcelona difficult to start with as he had no rapport with Gerard Pique.
Mathieu left Valencia for Barca in summer 2014 and, speaking on French television, has recalled what it was like when he initially arrived at Camp Nou.
“At first it was difficult because I felt he was a bit reluctant towards me,” Mathieu said, according to Marca.
“After several games we created a bit of a relationship and now I think everything is better.”
