‘Chicharito’ reveals Madrid frustration

Javier ‘Chicharito’ Hernandez has told of his frustration at not getting much playing time with Real Madrid this season.

The Mexican, who is on a season-long loan at the Santiago Bernabeu from Manchester United, has found it difficult to break into Carlo Ancelotti’s star-studded side, playing just 590 minutes so far, and admitted he is not happy with the situation.

“It’s very frustrating. I take part and give my all in training, yet as far are as playing in matches go the opportunities are limited,” Hernandez told Fox Sports channel.

“I belong to a team but am not part of the important bit, which is playing in actual games. Sometimes my confidence is at rock bottom, even though I’m trying for it to be up there with the help of the people who are always by my side and support me. “

Hernandez says he is desperate for the chance to prove his worth in the Spanish capital and feels that whenever he gets the opportunity to play he does well.

“The most important thing is to get chances and to feel that they believe in you. Whenever they have trusted me to do something it has turned out positive.

“However, I’ve just been through two quite frustrating years. There needs to be people who believe in me, at least so I can prove if I am any good or not,” he declared.
