Danilo flattered by Madrid link

Porto right-back Danilo says he is flattered to have been linked with a move to Real Madrid amid speculation he has already agreed terms.

Rumours have been rife that the 23-year-old Brazilian will be moving to the Spanish capital this summer and he spoke to reporters about it at his national team’s hotel ahead of Brazil’s friendly with France in Paris on Thursday.

“I’m having a great season with Porto and it’s logical this could produce speculation from bigger clubs, but right now I’m just focusing on the Brazil national team and playing in the Portuguese League," he maintained.

“It’s flattering to be linked with the likes of Madrid but it’s not something I’ve discussed with [Brazil teammate and Real Madrid player] Marcelo.

“When the season ends will be the time to sit down with Porto and talk about my future,” he affirmed.
