Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid have been paired together in the Champions League quarter-finals following Friday’s draw in Nyon.
In a rematch of last year’s final, which Los Blancos won 4-1 to be crowned European champions, Diego Simeone’s side have held the upper hand over their city rivals this season.
Elsewhere, Barcelona face Paris Saint-Germain in a repeat of their 2013 quarter-final, which the Catalans emerged 3-2 victors on aggregate.
Both sides were also Group F rivals earlier in the season, with La Blaugrana going down 3-2 away from home, before winning 3-1 at Camp Nou.
The first legs of the quarter-final ties will be played on April 14/15, with the return fixtures scheduled a week later.
