Del Bosque: Barca better for El Clasico

Vicente del Bosque believes Barcelona are in better form ahead of el Clasico but didn’t dismiss Real Madrid’s chances either.

The Spain Coach was at Camp Nou to see La Blaugrana reach the Champions League quarter-finals with a 3-1 aggregate win over Manchester City.

He briefly spoke to reporters after the match and gave his take on Sunday’s meeting of the top two as well as the visit of the Premier League champions.

“It seems Manchester City didn’t believe in the comeback,” Del Bosque noted, Marca reports.

“It looks like Barca are in better form but Madrid have a great team. I just hope we keep talking about football.”

Del Bosque was also asked about Sergio Busquets’ chances of making the Spain squad for games against Ukraine and the Netherlands, having been missing through injury the last few weeks.

“We’re going to see if he can come. If he can, it’s because he’s fit,” came the reply.
