Gaizka Garitano has challenged Eibar to regain their mojo ahead of the La Liga run-in, starting with Friday’s trip to Levante.
The Basque minnows have suffered an alarming dip in form, with last week’s 1-0 defeat by Athletic Bilbao their sixth in succession, but the Coach is backing his players to dig themselves out of a “mentally-difficult situation”.
“Levante are in a similar situation to ours,” he said at a Press conference.
“They’re hurt [from their last match], so we must be aware that they have a desire [to respond]. What we need is to do is enjoy La Liga [again].
“We must play well and enjoy ourselves. In the weeks ahead, only good performances can give us good sensations.
“It’s a very important game because when you lose six in a row, it’s hard to feel good about yourself.
“We now have another opportunity to get three points and the urgency to have a good game.
“All the remaining games are important and we can’t throw any of them away. We’re going to try to win them all.
“We find ourselves in a mentally difficult situation, but we know we can improve by reminding ourselves of who we are and what we want.”
