City are aware of his situation in Spain and with bringing Lionel Messi to the Etihad Stadium little more than a pipe dream it could see them turn their attention to Suarez.
However, the transfer ban currently imposed on Barcelona, along with the player’s frosty relationship with the English Press, are two major obstacles to any potential deal.
