Line-ups: Madrid-Villarreal

Real Madrid name an unchanged line-up for tonight’s visit of Villarreal in La Liga, which kicks off at 20:00 GMT.

Carlo Ancelotti insisted at his Press conference yesterday that he had no intention of rotating his squad in light of important fixtures around the corner, including the Clasico against Barcelona on March 22, and he has kept to his word, with Luka Modric also missing from the 18-man squad.

The Italian’s stance comes in stark contrast to that of his adversary at the Santiago Bernabeu this evening as Marcelino makes seven changes from the Yellow Submarine side who beat Red Bull Salzburg 3-1 in the second leg of their Europa League last-16 tie on Thursday.

Among the newcomers are Jose Antonio Dorado, Sergio Marcos, Moi Gomez, Giovani dos Santos, Gerard Moreno and January arrivals Eric Bailly and Joel Campbell.

Real Madrid: Casillas; Marcelo, Pepe, Varane, Carvajal; Kroos, SIlva, Isco; Bale, Benzema, Ronaldo

Subs: Navas, Nacho, Arbeloa, Coentrao, Illarramendi, Jese, Hernandez

Villarreal: Asenjo; Mario, Bailly, Dorado, Costa; Pina, Marcos, Gomez, Campbell; Gerard, Giovani

Subs: Carlos, Ruiz, Musacchio, Jonathan, Trigueros, Vietto, Uche

Referee: Gonzalez Gonzalez
