Madrid told: €100m for Pogba

Real Madrid have been advised by the agent of Paul Pogba, Mino Raiola, that it would cost €100m to sign the Juventus midfielder.

Raiola made the claim in an interview with Marca but appeared to indicate he would be open to at least talking to Los Blancos about a proposed transfer.

“If Madrid want him, they can call me,” Raiola said.

“Madrid is a dangerous club. It can burn players but Pogba is ready. He is focused on his life and career. For him there are no mountains.

“The cost of the operation would be at least €100m. He is the star of this generation and there is nobody out there like him. Barcelona want him too.

“Only seven clubs can afford Pogba. He is someone who has ‘cojones,’ just like [Zlatan] Ibrahimovic.”

Raiola added that Madrid missed out on Pogba when he moved to Serie A from Manchester United.

“They wanted him before he went to Juve, but didn’t want to pay €10m straight away and €30m after the first year. If they want, then they have my number.

“[Zinidine] Zidane and [Carlo] Ancelotti are very enthusiastic about him, but Paul is focused on Juventus.”
