‘Getafe have more finals’

Quique Sanchez Flores has warned Getafe have a many more finals to come before they are certain of avoiding relegation.

The Coach oversaw a 2-1 win against Espanyol on Friday evening, goals from Pablo Sarabia and Alvaro Vazquez delivering the points, with Anaitz Arbilla on the score sheet for the visitors.

“I don’t want to work in an atmosphere of anxiety,” Flores began in his post-match comments, AS reports.

“The players deserved everything and they have given everything in every training session. But we still need more points.

“I don’t want to use the word pressure. There are still a lot more finals. We have to keep going further. We’re still not finished and that’s a fact.

“The important thing here, in the end, will be the players and the fans. They can transmit to us. It’s very different to play with fans [in a full stadium].

“Sarabia has had a great game. Sammir, when he’s playing well, makes us better. But it’s difficult as the Coach to pick out any players.”
