Enrique: Barca want it all

Luis Enrique has said ahead of Barcelona’s meeting with Malaga on Saturday that his side hope to emerge victorious on all fronts this season.

Although the Catalans are four points behind Real Madrid atop La Liga, they have a game in hand over their Clasico rivals, while they are both 90 minutes away from reaching the Copa del Rey final and will face Manchester City in the last 16 of the Champions League next week.

“I want to win every title and every game, although not in training because someone has to lose,” the Coach began at his weekly Press conference on Friday.

“We’re trying to do our job, which is to win. How many [titles can we win]? We’ll see if we get any. There are rivals on the same level as ourselves.

“Although we always have to do our homework, we’re approaching the most important months of the season.

“There are big games in the League and both [the Champions League and Copa del Rey] knockouts coming up. In addition, we’re in a good spell.

“My opinion is the same as ever [that nothing has changed since Anoeta]. It was just a blip in the season, nothing more, nothing less.

“My players are used to playing every three days, but we can’t forget the importance of [getting] three points against Malaga.

“I can wait for the Champions League, now we’re about to play in the League.

“Being [League] leaders depends on us. We must focus on winning our next game and then see what our opponents do.

“[The renaming of Barca’s training ground in honour of Tito Vilanova] was a beautiful, emotional moment.

“I was lucky enough to spend time with him, but people always tell me the the club lost a great person.

“Even when the party was going on [earlier in the season], I felt very strong and still feel the same.

“I don’t share his opinion. My vision of football is international.”
