LFP investigating Barca anti-Ronaldo chants

Insulting chants aimed at Cristiano Ronaldo during Barcelona’s win over Levante are being investigated by the LFP, it has been reported.

AS say the League’s representative at Camp Nou on Sunday included in his match report the allegation that a section of the home support sang ‘Cristiano is a drunk’ during the 5-0 win.

It’s said that the League wants to be consistent in its stance on insulting songs and has in mind anti-Lionel Messi songs from Santiago Bernabeu earlier this season.

The LFP intends to verify footage of the Ronaldo song before the case is referred to the Anti-Violence commission.

Barca could face close of part of Camp Nou should the League decide to take action.
