Line-ups: Madrid-Depor

Carlo Ancelotti keeps changes to a minimum this afternoon as Real Madrid prepare to host Deportivo La Coruna in La Liga.

Despite the emphatic nature of their defeat by Atletico Madrid in last weekend’s capital derby, the Italian makes just three alterations against the Galicians, starting with Alvaro Arbeloa’s inclusion at the expense of Dani Carvajal.

Elsewhere, neither Fabio Coentrao nor Sami Khedira are in the matchday squad, the Portuguese sidelined through injury, so Marcelo and Asier Illarremendi both re-enter the XI, at left-back and in central midfield respectively.

Madrid need a win to maintain their lead atop the table, while Depor could break into the former half with a third successive victory.

Deportivo: Fabricio; Laure, Manuel Pablo, Lopo, Luisinho; Alex, Borges; Cuenca, Lucas, Cavaleiro; Riera
