Fabio Coentrao will be missing for around a fortnight after the Real Madrid full-back suffered a calf injury.
Marca confirms Coentrao was injured in training on Wednesday, pulling up and leaving the session early.
A calf problem was diagnosed and he will be out of action for at least 10 days, although there are fears it could stretch to as much as three weeks.
Carlo Ancelotti added Real Madrid C defender Mario Hermoso to the session to replace the Portuguese.
