Paco Alcacer will be on the sidelines for no more than two weeks, Valencia have said, after the forward was injured on Sunday.
Alcacer reported pain around the knee in the win over Espanyol and was withdrawn as a result, with a scan on Monday confirming the problem.
The Spain international is also carrying a deep bruise on his knee, Marca reports, while Enzo Perez didn’t come out for the second half after a bruise around the Achilles tendon left him unable to stand.
There is no update on Perez but reports earlier on Monday suggested his problem wasn’t serious either and he is expected to be available for Los Che’s next fixture.
