Enrique fuels Neymar ‘conspiracy’

Luis Enrique admits "nothing would surprise me" in relation to the controversy surrounding Neymar's transfer to Barcelona two years ago.

Club President Josep Maria Bartomeu will be probed for his participation in the deal, which saw him allegedly defraud the Spanish government to the tune of €2.8m, and the Coach spoke of a possible 'conspiracy' at boardroom level.

"We don't just look at [Luis Suarez's] goals, but also the things he gives us in our build-ups. He gives us a lot," he said ahead of Barca's trip to Athletic Bilbao on Sunday.

"Any of our midfielders can play, the more we have the better. We look at every game and make decisions with the coming weeks in mind.

"If anything, this team are specialists in bouncing back from very negative streaks. We haven't changed the way we see things.

"I'm very pleased with Andres [Iniesta's] performances. He attacks well and gives us defensive solidity.

"Our players are always involved. Everyone  knows that to get things done, they must pull their weight.

"Conspiracies in the signing of Neymar? Nothing would surprise me. In this country, anything is possible.

"My players behave properly. This has been the best week of training since I got here.

"I have a strong team, ready to win the game. That's what really concerns Luis Enrique."
