Luis Enrique singled out Barcelona’s attacking trident of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar for praise following their 3-2 victory over Villarreal on Sunday.
The South American trio starred against the Yellow Submarine at Camp Nou, with the Brazilian getting La Blaugrana back on level terms just before half-time and the Uruguayan providing the assist for the Argentine’s strike, which ultimately won them the match.
“We are pleased to have difference makers [in Messi, Suarez and Neymar], all of whom are in special form,” the Coach said after the game.
“[Suarez]’s getting the basics right and is important to us. He’s getting chances but doesn’t have any luck at the moment.
“However, he’s close to scoring [regularly]. He’ll start scoring important goals for us at some point during the season.
“With Messi, it’s easy. For the balance of the team, he now plays wider, but he has the freedom to play anywhere of the pitch.”
