Rafinha spoke of his delight at having played a starring role for Barcelona during their 3-2 victory over Villarreal in La Liga on Sunday.
The Brazilian midfielder was surprisingly preferred to Ivan Rakitic against the Yellow Submarine, but he warranted his inclusion by scoring the Catalans' second equaliser of the night.
“It was a very important match for me. I gave everything, although I know it’s hard to win a place [in this team],” he told Canal+.
“We knew it was going to be difficult because they came [to Camp Nou] very strong, but luckily we equalised soon after and then scored the third.
"With the three [Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar] up top, anything is possible.”
