Luis Enrique has offered his backing to Luis Suarez following the attacker’s barren start to life at Barcelona
The Uruguayan has scored just five times in Blaugrana colours since completing an €88m transfer from Liverpool in July, but the Coach is convinced the 27-year-old will eventually rediscover his prolific form in front of goal.
“These are phases which happen to every forward,” he said at a Press conference ahead of Barca‘s trip to Elche in La Liga on Saturday.
“It seems the goal is very far away from him, but he still gives us a lot.
“He’s still adapting. There’s no magic formula to perfectly integrate him into the team.
“We don’t care about that. I’m sure he’ll score goals and create chances [for himself].
“All players and Coaches struggle at some point during the season. I’m not worried at all.
“I’ve seen few players who move better than Luis Suarez. I’m sure he’ll be successful.”
