Luis Enrique feels that Lionel Messi is a better player than Cristiano Ronaldo and possibly the best of all time.
Speaking ahead of Barcelona’s quarter-final Copa del Rey clash with Atletico Madrid at the Camp Nou, the Catalans’ boss also revealed that he does not believe his job is in the balance if his team fails to win through.
“Lionel Messi is the best footballer ever and on a football level he is above Cristiano Ronaldo,” Enrique told a Press conference.
“I don’t think there has ever been anybody superior to him. Cristiano is a top player, a No 1, but on a footballing level he is below Messi.
“I don’t think my job is on the line in the game against Atletico. It will be tough and they are a team to be wary of over two games,” he asserted.
