Barcelona have confirmed that Douglas Pereira faces up to a month on the sidelines with a hamstring injury.
The right-back, who did not feature in the squad which travelled to Deportivo La Coruna on Sunday, picked up the knock in his left leg during a training session before the match.
He is now set to miss both legs of Barca’s quarter-final tie with Atletico Madrid in the Copa del Rey, plus matches against Elche, Villarreal, Athletic Bilbao and potentially Levante.
Douglas, a €4m signing from Sao Paulo in August, has made four appearances so far this season and registered his first assist at Elche last week.
