Milan to push for Siqueira?

Serie A giants Milan are ready to test Atletico Madrid’s resolve to hang on to left-back Guilherme Siqueira in the January transfer window.

Atleti’s good form again this season has once more had some of Europe’s top clubs eyeing their stars, and the Brazilian is the latest to be linked with a move away from the Vicente Calderon.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan’s relationship with the Madrid club is excellent following the recent agreement that saw Fernando Torres and Alessio Cerci move in opposite directions between the clubs.

As a result, the Italians plan to go back with an offer for 28-year-old Siqueira, who only joined Los Rojiblancos in the summer following a €10m move from Granada after being on loan at Benfica last season.

Siqueira already has experience of the Italian League, having signed for Inter and Lazio as a youngster before spending four years with Udinese, one of them on loan at Ancona.
