Neymar admits Barcelona had some ‘problems’ but insists they have turned the corner following Sunday’s 3-1 victory over Atletico Madrid.
La Blaugrana ended a tumultuous week, which saw the exits of Andoni Zubizarreta and Carles Puyol, reports of a bust-up between Lionel Messi and Luis Enrique and the club’s presidential elections being brought forward, with a convincing performance at Camp Nou.
“[Our problems] are over. It was an important victory. The team did their best and I’m very happy with the result,” the opening goalscorer of the night told reporters.
“Now we must keep our focus on the pitch. There are no longer any problems, it’s all in the past and we’re together again.”
