Ronaldo dedicates CWC to fans

Cristiano Ronaldo has dedicated Real Madrid's Club World Cup triumph to their supporters and wished everyone a 'better' 2015.

The Portuguese became the first player in history to win a national cup and Super Cup, the Champions League, Club World Cup, Ballon d'Or and Golden Boot with two different clubs in 2014, having first experienced such a trophy sweep with Manchester United six years ago.

"We had several terrific moments like winning the Copa del Rey, Champions League, the UEFA Super Cup and now the Club World Cup, which I devote to all Madridistas and people at the club, from the president to the props. This title is for all of them," he told AS during his Christmas getaway in Dubai.

"I hope 2015 will be better. We have a spirit which can lead us to the maximum number of titles possible.

"It'd be a dream if 2015 was like 2014 or even better. It's possible because Madrid are always candidates in all the competitions they play in. We'll go to death to get all these titles.

"The Coach has been hugely important. He's a great Coach, a great person and we're all delighted with him. Together we're a close-knit family who'll try to build on the successes of 2014.

"I want to wish happy holidays to everyone and that 2015 will be a great year for all Madridistas.

"I hope for both good health and peace and that next year will be better for everyone, especially for children, the needy and elderly."
