Djukic ‘ashamed’ of Barca defeat

Miroslav Djukic blasted his Cordoba players for only going to Camp Nou 'to ask for Barcelona jerseys' following Saturday's 5-0 defeat.

In a stinging attack on his team, the Serbian Coach fumed at his side's perceived lack of effort against La Blaugrana, claiming that 'even Andres Iniesta' showed more aggression, but admitted the buck ultimately stopped with him.

"We lacked courage. We only came here to ask for Barca jerseys. I feel ashamed," he told reporters after the match.

"We were asking for autographs and shirts with pictures before the game. To win at this venue, you must have pride.

"Barca scored two goals from set pieces. I didn't like our game today. We need to have a better attitude.

"You can win, lose or draw against Barcelona, but we should have done more. They beat us without hitting top gear.

"I have a lot of guilt. The players are a reflection of their Coach. We made a fool of ourselves. We must have another attitude and be more aggressive.

"Even [Andres] Iniesta was more aggressive than us. The story of the game was written after just a minute."
