Neymar back for Barca-Cordoba

Luis Enrique has confirmed that Neymar is back among first-team contention for Barcelona's visit of Cordoba on Saturday.

The attacker missed La Blaugrana's last two matches against Getafe and Huesca with an ankle injury, but he is in line to mark his return against the new boys.

"Neymar trained with the team on Friday, we'll see if he can play. I have no news about [the Brazil friendlies], but we'll discuss them when the time comes," the Coach said at a Press conference yesterday.

"It's a difficult situation [for Martin Montoya]. He could play more minutes, but I can't give minutes to everyone. There'll always be someone who can't participate.

"Xavi has gone from being a very important to remaining a very important player. Rafinha is brimming with quality. I know him well and he'll be important for Barcelona.

"Cordoba deserved to win a match and didn't because of bad luck. Under Djukic, they won in San Mames. The backlash can hurt us, so we need to be effective.

"Barca demonstrated their level against Huesca. The players [who featured against Huesca] are available, but not everyone can play.

"I don't like tributes [regarding Carles Puyol], but if the club decides to do so, perfect. He certainly deserves it, he's a big part of our history.

"We'll only focus on what we can control. We've almost always had the same system, but we also want to inflict maximum damage to our opponents. We always talk about being unpredictable.

"There's a team who have been better than us, and we must work hard to close the gap."

Barcelona squad in full: Ter Stegen, Bravo; Montoya, Pique, Mathieu, Mascherano, Alba, Adriano; Rakitic, Sergio, Xavi, Iniesta, Rafinha; Pedro, Suarez, Messi, Neymar, Munir.
