‘I’ve not been told Ronaldo is unhappy!’

Real Madrid Coach Carlo Ancelotti has laughed off reports that Cristiano Ronaldo is unhappy about not yet scoring in the Club World Cup.

The Portuguese failed to find the back of the net during Los Blancos' 4-0 victory over Cruz Azul on Tuesday, but the Coach is backing the attacker to end his mini-drought in tonight's final against San Lorenzo.

"Cristiano? I’ve not been told he's not happy. He's happy because we're together and the weather is fantastic. Hopefully he'll make his mark against San Lorenzo," the former Chelsea and Milan boss said at a Press conference.

"I just coach and prefer to just coach. I have to call upon my experience as a player and try to have a good relationship with my players.

"I'm not a psychologist or psychiatrist! Maybe in the future I'll need one after all these Press conferences… Perhaps yourselves after hearing so many!

"A Coach doesn't need to give a motivational talk ahead of such a game. You risk cracking under so much pressure so, in this sense, you need a clear head. Everyone is motivated.

"We need to display all of our technical qualities. A match isn't just decided by quality, we also need organisation and fight and apply a more complete performance than our opponents.

"Chicharito is helping a lot, so he won't go home. If he's given the opportunity to play, he'll take it. Last year, we won the Champions League final with plenty of assistance from our squad players. A minute can be just as important."
