Real Madrid target Lucas Silva has spoken publicly for the first time about his future and a possible move to the European champions.
The Cruzeiro midfielder has been coveted by the Spanish giants for the past few months, although reports this week claimed Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti is cooling on the idea of bringing him to the Santiago Bernabeu.
However, in an interview with Marca the Brazilian has hinted he is close to sealing a switch to Los Blancos in the near future.
“I’m surprised and happy at all the news that has emerged in the last few weeks,” said the 21-year-old.
“Let it be said that for a club such as Real Madrid to want you is an honour and a pleasure. It would be a dream to play for them and I’m ready to go there.
“I can only hope the two clubs reach an agreement but I’m prepared for all possibilities,” he declared.
