Atleti monitor Croatian hitman

Atletico Madrid are keeping tabs on Croatia international Andrej Kramaric, who has expressed a desire to move to La Liga, reports AS.

The Rijeka striker [pictured, right] has notched 21 goals from 17 League games this season and seven more in the Europa League, prompting Atleti boss Diego Simeone to monitor his situation ahead of the January transfer market.

Kramaric, 23, has admitted he has received offers from both Italy and England, but told Sportske Novosti he is more interested in a move to Spain.

“I’d like to play in the Primera Division because Spanish football, for its style, would be best for me.

“I expect it would be a difficult decision and I’ve had several sleepless nights, but I still have to think about it.

“Sitting on the bench wouldn’t be my choice and I want to ensure I’ll play,” he maintained.
