Gracia relieved after Celta win

Javi Gracia admitted Malaga were fortunate to beat Celta Vigo 1-0 on Saturday. "It was a display of generosity at work."

Los Boquerones secured back-to-back victories in La Liga following Samu Sanchez's early winner against the Galicians, but the Coach conceded his side rode their luck for large spells at La Rosaleda.

"We entered the game worse than our opponents as we had no possession in the early stages," he told reporters after the match.

"Celta showed us the way, creating chances, and we enjoyed our best spell of play after the goal.

"We came back out for the second half with less possession and poor finishing, but despite it not being a very controlled game, it was a display of generosity at work.

"The team are becoming increasingly depleted. Several players are getting more minutes than I'd like, so I think everyone has contributed to our haul of 27 points, but we must keep on challenging."
