Nuno ‘worried’ about indiscipline

Nuno Santo hailed Valencia's 3-0 victory over Rayo Vallecano but admitted he was 'worried' with his side's continued indiscipline.

Los Che ended their four-match winless run in La Liga thanks to an explosive first half on Saturday, but Andre Gomes' late red meant they finished with 10 men for a second week running, and the Coach urged his team to curb their indiscretions.

"Three important points for our objectives. The slump is in the past, we now have a new dynamic and played a good game," he said after the match.

"We gave a good account of ourselves without Dani [Parejo]. We have good options, and those who came in played well, but I emphasise our team work and very good output.

"All our red cards have been when we're in possession, during attacking moves. We had a shot, got caught out and ended up with a player sent off. That worries me because we're not a violent team.

"The most important thing is that [Alvaro] Negredo always offers good solutions when he plays. He's compatible with Paco [Alcacer], [Rodrigo] De Paul, Carles Gil and Rodrigo [Moreno].

"I understand the fans want to see a trident attack, but I can assure them that everything will fall into place.

"We experienced great support from the fans, and I have special words for the Curva Nord because when they spur on the team, we're very grateful."
