Carlo Ancelotti insisted Real Madrid's quality eventually shone through during Friday's 4-1 victory over Almeria.
Los Blancos rode their luck as Verza missed a penalty at a critical juncture in the match, but the Coach dismissed the notion that the incident necessarily played into his side's hands.
"Almeria fought hard and posed us problems, but eventually our quality came through. In any case, the match was difficult," he expressed to reporters.
"They fought hard and pushed us. We failed to put some passes together and didn't find it easy to keep possession.
"Only winning [the Club World Cup] will be enough, like any competition, but the atmosphere and timing of it are good.”
