Tebas campaigning for ultras demise

LFP President Javier Tebas has reiterated that unruly ultras will be targeted following more acts of violence prior to Barcelona-Paris Saint-Germain.

The issue of violence in Spanish football reared its head again after two PSG fans were allegedly stabbed outside Camp Nou ahead of Wednesday's Champions League encounter, which La Blaugrana won 3-1.

Although both supporters' injuries are not thought to be fatal, nor have the identities of the perpetrators been made public, the League chief remained insistent in his attempts to bring down intolerant supporter groups.

"Ultras who assault, insult, belittle and do not show tolerance will be removed from all stadia and sports arenas," Tebas was today quoted as saying by EFE.

"We're going after them. We're very clear about this, League and clubs alike. These words were made prior to the incident which happened yesterday."
