Reports in Italy and Spain claim Juventus are closing in on the signing of want-away Barcelona full-back Martin Montoya.
AS cite a story from Tuttosport that says Montoya is close to a switch to Turin and points to his lack of involvement in Barca’s game against Paris Saint-Germain as proof.
Dani Alves is suspended for the fixture but Montoya hasn’t been named in the squad with the club’s other natural right-back, Douglas, also absent.
Montoya has repeatedly revealed his desire to leave Camp Nou in January after failing to dislodge Alves from Luis Enrique’s side and a fee between €4m and €5m is mooted by the report.
It’s believed that Montoya will be first-choice at right-back for Juventus and that is part of the reason he is keen to move to the Serie A leaders.
