‘Ancelotti’s rotation paying off’

Alvaro Arbeloa commended Carlo Ancelotti's 'great' rotation policy following Real Madrid's 4-0 victory over Ludogorets.

The defender scored his first goal of the season during Los Blancos' Champions League win on Tuesday, and he showed praise on the rest of his teammates for their desire to challenge on all fronts this season.

"I think the fans celebrated my goal more than I did," he joked after the match.

"What matters is that we scored the goals, not who scored them. Now we await the draw.

"It is important to keep adding wins. We have to win every match until the end of the year.

"We are all accustomed to the pace of each competition and playing every three days.

"The side almost play a game a day! Dani [Carvajal] is playing in both La Liga and the Champions League.

"Jese has also recovered. I think the Coach is doing great to rotate the players.

"Cristiano's the best for me and that’s objective. The season he had last year and how he's started this year proves his case.

"Chicharito is helping us a lot and his attitude has been noted.

"The Club World Cup's the only title I don't have. I will have won everything [if we win it], then we'll start again.

"We're taking the run naturally, although maybe we won't remember these records in May."
