Ancelotti in awe of Madrid record

Carlo Ancelotti was in awe of Real Madrid after Tuesday's 4-0 victory over Ludogorets. "Not even I could've imagined that we'd win 19 straight games."

Los Blancos set a new high in Spanish football against the Bulgarians as they surpassed Barcelona's 18-game win streak, and the Coach paid tribute to his entire squad, whom he has 'much love' for.

"We needed to win this game and we did. We played a good intensity and we won without any problems," he said to Canal+ after the match.

"We didn't play with the handbrake on. We prepared for the match like we always have done.

"It was a comfortable match, we had opportunities and in the end everything went well.

"The team oversaw the result with seriousness and professionalism.

"It's not easy to prepare for matches with such motivation and desire.

"We continue trying to prepare in the best way we can. I have an extraordinary group.

"Not even I could've imagined that we'd win 19 straight games after losing to Atleti.

"I have much love for the players and always appreciated them.

"I'm very fond of the club and everything's going well for us. We need to continue fighting for this moment."
