The LFP has filed a complaint to Barcelona following instances of intolerant chanting during Sunday's Catalan derby, according to AS.
The newspaper claims that La Blaugrana supporters were guilty of singing anti-Espanyol chants in Camp Nou's south stand, leading Spain's professional League body to condemn the fans' behaviour.
LFP President Javier Tebas confirmed over the weekend that he instructed Real Madrid to take action against their own supporters, after it emerged that Los Blancos expelled 17 fans for inciting Barca tensions against Celta Vigo on Saturday.
It now appears that the League chief is taking a similarly hard line with Madrid's arch rivals, having promised to tackle "the monster" in light of an ultra's death two weekends ago.
AS also reports that the LFP is investigating two more cases, the first of which relates to the Segunda encounter involving Real Betis and Mallorca. In addition, Sevilla fans reportedly sang negative chants about Atletico Madrid at Rayo Vallecano
One regulation that the sports daily believes could be enforced by the LFP is the refusal to allocate away tickets for implicated clubs.
