Alcaraz ‘satisfied’ with Getafe draw

Lucas Alcaraz said he was 'satisfied' with Levante's 1-1 draw at home to Getafe on Monday, despite acknowledging several missed chances.

The Valencians came back from a goal behind to earn a point midway through the second half, and the Coach, although disappointed with his team's finishing, could not fault the commitment of his players.

"We wanted to win the game. We finished with 16 shots on goal but only scored once," the former Granada and Almeria boss told reporters after the match.

"Sometimes you win, sometimes you don't, but I'm satisfied with the work of the players.

"When the match was going better for us, in the first half, we weren't able to score.

"Still, I think the players can't be criticised for anything. I'm pleased with their effort and intent.

"95% of [Spanish] teams are playing in both the League and Copa.

"We want to work with all the players, so that one of the least-used players in the League can play at their best condition."
