The agent of Martin Montoya has said there is no chance his client will stay at Barcelona past the winter transfer window. “100% Montoya will leave.”
Marca quotes Juan De Dios Carrasco as saying Montoya spoke with Luis Enrique personally but feels he has no chance of displacing Dani Alves, despite feeling he was ready to when signing a new contract.
“Within this framework and system, he can’t snatch the place of Alves or Douglas,” Dios Carrasco said.
“100% he will leave Barcelona in the winter. Right now we just have to find the best club for Martin’s progression.
“Germany, England and Italy have clubs that are already preparing to incorporate him.”
Dios Carrasco stressed however that Montoya would remain ‘professional until his last day’ at Barcelona.
