Eduardo Berizzo admitted Eibar's early goal made his Celta Vigo players ‘play with haste’ following Saturday’s 1-0 defeat at Balaidos.
The Galicians fell to Manu del Moral’s 30th-minute effort in what was only their second home defeat of the season.
The Coach urged his side to look over their shoulders and not get sucked into an unlikely relegation battle.
"I can't blame the players, but this defeat must serve to get into our heads," he said to reporters.
"We know this is a very difficult league and nothing can divert us from the reality that we're now 10 points clear of the relegation zone. That's our concern.
"We must recognise that we must work with humility and know how to play these kind of games, in which a goal you concede makes you play with haste and makes things much more difficult.
"The team worked hard, created numerous chances and tried everything but lacked the goal that they did find in one of his attacks.
"Eibar took more than they deserved, but that's football.
"In the first half we had the best chances and showed thrust in the second. We took a step forward but didn't score."
