Everton have been linked with an £8m [€10m] bid for Barcelona full-back Martin Montoya, although his agent says Barca won’t sell.
AS cites a report from the British Press that links the Toffees to the right-back and note there is also interest from Italy.
But Sport quotes Montoya’s agent, Josep Maria Orobitg as denying Roma have been in contact over the defender.
“Barca have made it clear they won’t sell anyone in the winter window due to the transfer ban,” he said.
“We know in football things can change quickly but at the moment, this is the situation.”
