James Rodriguez praised Real Madrid for showing 'faith' in their 4-0 Liga victory over Eibar this evening.
The Colombia international played a key role during Los Blancos' trip to the Basque country, scoring a goal and assisting another, and he hailed his teammates for believing in their ability to win games right up until the final whistle.
“We knew it was going to be difficult, but we had a lot of faith in winning and earning a good result. I'm happy because we won,” he told reporters after the match.
“By scoring early, we knew the match would end well for us. The goal was given to us by fate and the game ended 0-4. Next up are two tough games that we have to win.
“It's always difficult when you have a player like Modric out, but we have players who can replace him.”
