Nuno excited about Valencia derby

Valencia Coach Nuno Santo has spoken of his excitement ahead of his first derby experience against Levante tomorrow.

The match's build-up has been the subject of much controversy due to a row between the two clubs over ticket prices, but with an agreement now seemingly reached, the Portuguese trainer is delighted that football has retaken precedence.

“Aside from the match itself, we hope that the fans enjoy themselves, support their teams and that it'll be a fair game. We are aware that it'll be tough,” Nuno was quoted as saying by EFE.

“I'm glad that everything has been clarified on the topic of the fans, so they can now enjoy watching their teams and show their support.”

Nuno was speaking during a pre-match event at the Ciudad de Valencia, and he was joined by adversary Lucas Alcaraz, who proceeded to offer similar sentiments on Sunday's clash.

“I just want it to be a great game, the teams are currently in their best form,” the Levante boss noted.

“I'm fairly happy with how we played against Almeria. Regarding the fans, I'm fully convinced they will help us a lot and that there will be a cordial atmosphere.”
