Nuno Santo has answered social media questions from Valencia fans, revealing his favourite motivational motto, among other tidbits.
Super Deporte report Nuno being asked what he was most impressed by upon arriving at Mestalla this summer.
“The organisation, the desire to win trophies and the willingness to work,” he replied.
“These are the things that make you a professional.
“We have to come to understand [our opponents’] idea of the game, identify the characteristics of their players to counteract them and exploit their weaknesses.
“A phrase? It’s hard to beat he who never gives up. That’s our idea, to fight to the end.”
Some of the questions were for Nuno personally, as he revealed he liked ‘everything’ about Valencia but doesn’t know how to cook a paella, he just eats them.
Asked to describe himself in three words, Nuno did so and also admitted he never switches off.
“Three words? Quiet, friendly and passionate [about football],” he said.
“Is there any time I don’t think about football? No…”
