Nolito says he is relishing the ‘perfect’ scenario of being handed his Spain debut against Germany at Balaidos on Tuesday.
The Celta Vigo attacker did not feature against Belarus in Euro 2016 qualifying on Saturday but could be in line to make his Roja bow when the World Cup winners visit the home ground of his club side this week.
“In Vigo, I feel at home, so this call-up couldn't be any better," he said at a Press conference.
“If I'm lucky enough to be given my debut, what better than [debuting] in Vigo, with all my supporters, against the world champions. It would be perfect if I had such luck.
“I'm not disappointed, but when you're on the bench, you always have faith and hope to play even five minutes.
“But I have many peers and not everyone can play. I'm very happy to be part of the national team.”
