Morata: A dream to debut

Alvaro Morata was delighted to make his first appearance for the senior Spain side after getting a run-out in the 3-0 win over Belarus.

The Juventus striker was a late substitute and told reporters after the match that he was almost at a loss for words.

“I’ve fulfilled a dream. I have so many emotions I don’t know what to say,” AS reports Morata admitting.

“The truth is I don’t have a lot to say about it. I’m a little emotional.”

Morata was one of two debutants, the other being Jose Callejon, while Isco stole the show on his first start, getting his first goal.

Isco caught the eye of his former Real Madrid teammate Morata, who commended the midfielder’s ability.

“It’s like he has glue on his boot,” Morata remarked.
