Zidane obtaining coaching badge

Zinedine Zidane is in France putting the finishing touches to obtaining his coaching badge following his recent problems.

The Frenchman recently received a three-month ban from the Spanish Football Federation for coaching Real Madrid second string Castilla, which has since been overturned by the Sports Arbitration Committee.

However, Zidane is now seeking the accreditation that hopefully will be awarded him next May when he secures the UEFA Pro Level III licence that will allow him to operate in any country recognise by FIFA.

The 42-year-old attended a coaching session put on by former Real Sociedad boss Philippe Montanier alongside Claude Makele of Bastia and Bordeaux’s Willy Sagnol, an event organised by the French Football Federation.
