Real Sociedad have confirmed the appointment of former Manchester United manager David Moyes as the club’s new Coach.
Moyes replaces Jagoba Arrasate, who was sacked after the team’s poor start to the season, and has agreed a deal until 2016.
La Real say the Scot will be formally presented on Tuesday and information regarding the make-up of his backroom team will also be confirmed.
Moyes left United earlier this year having replaced Sir Alex Ferguson at Old Trafford. He previously spent more than a decade at Everton, joining the Toffees from Preston North End.
The 51-year-old beat out competition from Pepe Mel for the post and takes over at Anoeta with the team in 15th place on nine points from 11 games, having beaten Atletico Madrid on Sunday.
