Cosmin Contra has revealed he is concerned about his side’s lack of goals after Getafe’s game against Elche ended 0-0.
Getafe have only scored eight times in 11 fixtures and Contra told reporters post-match that while they were sound defensively, there are problems at the other end.
“We weren’t fine today. We were pretty good in defence,” he said, according to Marca.
“In attack we were constrained. We’ve put in a big effort in recent weeks but I’m concerned by our lack of goals.
“I want to play like we did [against Deportivo La Coruna], with speed and in space, but we were against a very well organised opponent.
“They worked very well as a team. They knew our strengths. They came here after doing their homework.
“I’d like to play like Real Madrid or Barcelona, scoring five goals in every game. We are what we are, it is what it is. The lack of goals worries me a lot.”
